FAQ
What is training
Training is an organizational system of physical - athletic exercises which promotes the strengthening of those physiological systems (cardiac ,circulatory, muscular, ecc) that underlie of the exercise itself.
Physiological laws on which training is based
The training has its scientific basis in " General Syndrome of Adaptation " also defined "Allarm reaction " studied and explained by Selye in 1947 . These studies highlighted the system adjustment to external stressors agents, including work and physical activity.
What is the customization of training
Training, having its bases on the concept of adaptation to stress, must always be organized on the ability of the athlete, which initially must be evaluated with equipment that reflect in the most appropriate way possible the muscular, energetic and in motion effort of the discipline to which we refer to.
What is the programming of training
The programming of training is that organizational form which must include a variation of intensity of training load between the various training sessions.
The physiological concept on which the programming of training is based , refers to the supercompensation , that is, the chain of replies ( Selye ) which tend to increase, during the recovery , paying the energy spent , with a higher level of capacity, predisposing the organism to athletic potentiality increasingly high.
From an organizational point of view, the intensity of the stimulus (workload), must be increasing between subsequent sessions , but alternated with periods of discharge in which the workload decreases allowing the solidification of the level of performance achieved.
What is the periodization of training
When training is oriented to competitive activity (racing), the whole organization of it should be structured depending on the competition calendar.
The difference between the Training program and the Training Agenda
The training program allows to know in advance ,at the beginning of training, all the indications proposed in the same session and in the subsequent sessions. The agenda , instead, is a collection of what we were able to do and it is completed after the training.
Short fast, race pace, average, ecc. from words to facts
Very often, in sports literature, inherent to running on road, we find information very generic and difficult to interpret. So, the terminology that refers to the rhythm of exercise slow, average ,race pace, short fast ecc., is difficult to practical application also in view of the fact that the references to intensity of the effort to propose, are various : maximum oxygen consumption, heart rate, anaerobic threshold, ecc.. With difficulty in the programs currently offered , we find references....physical " or the running speed expressed in km/h, understood as the time in which you must travel a precise distance. In the running speed, the concept of stress is intrinsic so at its change, all requirements of the terminology used can be met.
The characteristic of the SPORT-SYS programs ?
It is to indicate precisely the speed of execution of each exercise reporting the following references : distance to run in meters, time in which the distance must be covered, running speed in km/h and rhythm on 1000 meters in minutes and seconds.

How to request a personal training ?

How do I choose the number of training sessions on a weekly microcycle?
The number of sessions is set based on the commitment that each program requires : 3 for athletes with a VO2 estimated 34-44 cm3/kg min., 6 for experienced athletes with a VO2 estimated over 60-66 cm3/kg min..
When user introduces data to request a program, so knowing the level of capacity, the maximum number of sessions proposed in the last mesocycle is highlighted. At this stage, it will be asked to the user to confirm or reduce the number of sessions themself.
In all cases there is not the possibility to increase the sessions because the programs are structured so as to enforce the recovery time which for lower capacity must be larger.
All training are structured in a maximum of 6 sessions per week to enforce at least one day of rest.
